On November 7, 2020, I stepped into a new role as Podcast Host and officially stepped outside of my comfort zone. The first Episode, Need to Get Something Off My Chest, was uploaded and within one week, had been shared in over 6 countries. There was no turning back. The listeners’ comments made it clear…. Warrior’s Day Off was relatable and inspired hope.
As I think about my life’s circumstances and the skills developed throughout my 25-year career as a facilitator, it made sense that Warrior’s Day Off felt so right. I engaged participants in workshops, culture summits and seminars. In my early days of broadcasting, I researched topics, wrote content, and interviewed guests. I even learned how to not “pop my p’s” in a microphone. Transitioning to my new role as a Podcast Host felt like stepping into a comfortable pair of slippers. It was the right fit.
